What it is: un an advanced training course to learn micropigmentation techniques in the medical field

To whom it is addressed: Beauticians, Doctors, Nurses and those who have a health and hygiene license by their Regione (administrative division).

How long it lasts: 5 modules of 2 days each + 1 day for the examination to access apprenticeship + 3 training sessions on patient (each session lasts 2 days) + 1 day for the delivery of certificates.

What you will learn: partial and total creation and reconstruction techniques of the mammary areola (theory / practice on synthetic fabric, theory/practice on patient).

Day 1

  • Suture techniques

  • Scar results in Plastic Surgery

  • Anatomy and physiology of the skin

  • Cutaneous pathology (inflammatory pathology, alteration of pigmentation, neoplastic pathology)

  • Stages of scarring and its alterations (keloids, scars, hypertrophy).

  • Contraindications to treatment with dermopigmentation.

  • Allergology

  • Alopecia

Day 2

Lecturer: Professor Federica Murelli, UniGe

  • Primary and secondary prevention of breast pathology

  • Anatomy and physiology of the mammary region

  • Benign and malignant mammary pathology

  • Oncological breast surgery

Lecturer: Professor laria Baldelli, UniGe

  • Scarring outcomes of pathologies pertaining to plastic and reconstructive surgery (Cleft lip, Burns)

  • Measurements and programming of reconstructive micropigmentation treatment of the areola

  • Breast reconstructive surgery (prostheses, flaps, nipple reconstruction, lipofilling).

Lecturer: Professor Alessia D’Alonso, IRCCS Genova

  • Therapies and their application in the reconstructive treatment (timing and interactions with other medical and surgical therapies)

  • Complications related to treatments (atrophies, dryness, telangiectasia, etc.)

  • Contraindications to dermopigmentation.
